Earlier in 2018, the LDC applied to the International Book Project for a donation of university level books from the USA. After approving our application they spent time sourcing books from various donors that would be most suited for our departments. As a result we now have 18,000 textbooks covering all subjects: from English to Biology, Nursing to History. It is worth mentioning, the price of the books is arround 190,000 US Dollars.

There is something for everyone including a large fiction collection for your enjoyment. This huge donation comes at a time when LDC staff and other university lecturers work to modernize the Central Library, improving accessibility and resources. We are truly grateful for the generosity of the International Book Project and the hard work of all those involved.
